Nelson Naturist Park - Nelson
Nelson Naturist Park is located at the end of Sunrise Valley Rd, Upper Moutere, Tasman. With a membership of around 75, we enjoy the social practice of naturism located within a safe and tranquil environment that is free of social judgement.
Some of our members live on the grounds all year round, while others stay seasonally (summertime) or pop in on a casual basis. Guests with an interest in naturism are welcome to visit or stay on-site (by prior arrangement) and we invite them to attend the numerous club functions arranged throughout the year.
Facilities: Our rural 2.8-hectare property boasts a picturesque nine-hole golf course, swimming pool, spa and large social area. Our shower, laundry and cooking facilities are modern and clean. Directions: From Nelson follow the main road (SH6) south as far as the Motueka coastal highway. Follow this as far as the Moutere highway turnoff. Follow this road, about 8kms to the Sunrise Valley turnoff on the left-hand side of the road. The club is at the end of Sunrise Valley Road.
Nearest Services: A dairy/grocery, petrol station and LPG refill depot are all available in Upper Moutere (4.6 kms), while there’s a doctor in Mapua (10 kms). The nearest chemists are in Richmond or Motueka (both 20 kms).
Local Attractions: In the village The Moutere Inn is allegedly NZ’s oldest licensed public house, while the region also offers vineyards, potters, a glass blowing studio, the Craft Habitat centre and the Suter Art Gallery (in Nelson).
