Nude Gardening Day 2025

8th annual nude gardening day took place on 25th October 2025.
Sat 25 Oct was the 8th annual Southern Hemisphere nude gardening day. This was covered by the Otago Daily Times.
NZNF President Alice was also interviewed by Radio New Zealand.
The theme for 2025 was “communities in bloom”. The press release was organised by Yates.
For a third year, The NZNF was joined by the Australian and South African Naturist Federations in celebrating the day.
Organic New Zealand (formerly Soil & Health Association NZ) has been on-board nude gardening day since 2022 when the theme was “soil health” and have been releasing an annual nude gardening day calendar since. They will be releasing a calendar again for 2026. Keep an eye on their Facebook page.
Last year we had four NZNF members that were featured in the calendar, including a photo of Alice with the recently deceased Anna Cruze. Anna received a copy of the calendar three weeks before her passing and said to us “wow, I’ve never been a calendar girl before!”. It now hangs on her sister’s wall.
